He may be eight months short of his 39th birthday, but there is no stopping Peter Stringer and the veteran Irish scrum-half is set to equal Ronan O'Gara's record of 112 appearances in European competitions when he starts for Sale Sharks in their Challenge Cup quarter-final against Montpellier at the AJ Bell Stadium tomorrow evening.
