Toulouse full-back Thomas Ramos will make his first Test start for France on Saturday against Scotland in the Six Nations Championship, having impressed in the French club’s run to the Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finals. Ramos – who has scored 60 points in six Heineken Champions Cup matches this season – featured against England a fortnight ago off the bench, but has been handed the No. 15 jersey from kick-off as France look to win their first Six Nations match of the season. The 23-year-old helped Toulouse finish second in Pool 1 behind defending champions Leinster Rugby, securing a best runners-up spot, and will meet 2018 finalists Racing 92 in the quarter-finals at Paris La Defense Arena on March 31, live on BT Sport, FR2 and beIN SPORTS. Toulouse also provide France’s half-back partnership at the weekend, with scrum-half Antoine Dupont and utility back Romain Ntamack wearing the No.9 and No.10 jerseys respectively. Dupont has scored three tries in European competition this season, earning two Heineken Man of the Match awards in the process, as well as a EPCR European Player of the Year nomination, while Ntamack touched down against Wasps in Round 4.
