Also on the show, entitled ‘Rugby Tonight on Tour’, is Exeter Chiefs back Jack Nowell, who is interviewed remotely by fellow England international Ben Kay, a Heineken Cup winner with Leicester Tigers in 2001 and 2002.

Then, on Sunday, there are two special programmes involving BT Sport’s rugby ‘dream team’ of triple Heineken Cup champion Brian O’Driscoll, two-time winners Lawrence Dallaglio and Austin Healey, double Challenge Cup winner Ugo Monye and presenter Craig Doyle.

First, on BT Sport 1 at 14:30 in ‘Rugby Today’, Doyle, Dallaglio, Healey and Monye take a look at the global game and later at the best wingers in the professional era.

Then, on BT Sport 3 from 16:00, O’Driscoll commentates on two memorable Heineken Cup matches he was involved in - Leinster’s 2006 quarter-final with Toulouse and their 2009 semi-final with Munster.
