La Rochelle will call on their renowned team spirit to help them reach their second European Rugby Challenge Cup semi-final on Sunday, after losing their last four games in the TOP 14. Lock Romain Sazy knows the French club face a difficult task when they host Bristol Bears at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre, since the English triumphed there 13-3 in a Pool 4 match in December. “We must keep our team spirit – that's true,” said Sazy, who played in five of La Rochelle’s matches as they topped Pool 4. “But I hope that against Bristol we’ll rediscover more. It’s a knockout match and we’ll give everything to progress and play a semi-final at Deflandre.” La Rochelle, who reached the last four in 2017, are guaranteed a semi-final on their own ground if they beat Bristol, after being ranked second following the pool stages.
