Leinster Rugby full-back Rob Kearney returns to the Ireland XV on Saturday for their Six Nations clash with Scotland at BT Murrayfield, having sat out last week’s 32-20 defeat against England due to injury. The 32-year-old – who won his third European Cup in Bilbao last May against Racing 92 – is one of five changes made by Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt after recovering from a thigh injury. Kearney is set to win his 88th cap for Ireland, having made 75 appearances in Europe’s elite club competition for Leinster, scoring 17 tries. He is one of three Leinster players to win recalls. The others are flanker Sean O’Brien and No.8 Jack Conan. Maitland – who has four Heineken Champions Cup tries from five appearances this season – will form a familiar back three with Glasgow Warriors wing Tommy Seymour and full-back Stuart Hogg, with the trio combining for the 18th time for Scotland. Other Scottish changes include the returns of Glasgow lock Jonny Gray and Edinburgh prop Simon Berghan.
