Saracens hooker Jamie George has admitted that his side are well aware of the challenge posed by Munster Rugby as they bid to reach a third Heineken Champions Cup final in four seasons at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Saturday. The English club defeated Munster 26-10 at the same stage in 2017 and have enjoyed a flawless European campaign so far, having won all seven matches, including a 56-27 home quarter-final victory over Glasgow Warriors. But despite Saracens’ excellent European form, George – who was Heineken Man of the Match against Glasgow last month – maintained that the two-time winners will have to be at their best to clinch a spot in the showpiece final in Newcastle next month. “It’s a chance to progress, but we know it’s a tough challenge,” said the 28-year-old. “They were a good team two years ago and they don’t give up points easily. “We all know how good their defence is, so that will be tough. We know we are going to have to be at our best to beat Munster and if we can get there, we will be there or thereabouts.” [jwplayer w6yZ9Ohw] The England international heaped praise on Munster flanker and fellow British and Irish Lion Peter O’Mahony, who will be looking to pose problems for the hooker at the lineout on Saturday. "Look, first of all, I think what an incredible man, an unbelievable leader," George commented. "He's got an aura about him, an incredibly impressive character. "I think he is one of the best lineout defensive players in the world and I saw that first-hand on the Lions tour. "It's going to be difficult. It's so important for the chain of command to work well. There's pressure on myself to get the ball to where it needs to be. It's a big area of the game and the set-piece will go a long way to defining the game."
