The four-time tournament winners have a clean sweep of wins to date this season, both domestically and in Europe, as they take on Lyon in Pool 1 at the RDS on Sunday live on BT Sport chasing the highest ranking possible as well as a home quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Toulouse, Racing 92 and the Exeter Chiefs can all seal a place in the knockout stage by winning their Round 5 fixtures against Connacht Rugby, Munster Rugby and Glasgow Warriors respectively.

Racing 92 have yet to lose a Heineken Champions Cup pool match at Paris La Défense Arena as they prepare to welcome Munster on Sunday for a ninth tournament meeting between the clubs live on BT Sport. Munster need to upset the odds to stay in the hunt for a place in the last eight.

The top two clubs in three of the pools go head-to-head this weekend including Exeter Chiefs who take their record of four wins from as many matches to Glasgow, however, the Gallagher Premiership front runners will be mindful that they were beaten 28-21 when they last visited Scotstoun in the 2017/18 season.

Saracens meet Ospreys for the seventh time in European competition on Saturday in front of the Channel 4, Virgin Media and BT Sport cameras. The holders have won five of their past meetings, but were held to a 15-15 draw at the Liberty Stadium two seasons ago.

Nine of the Challenge Cup fixtures take place on Saturday with head-to-heads between the top two clubs this weekend in all five pools.

Only one point separates Bordeaux-Bègles and Edinburgh Rugby at the top of Pool 3 and while the TOP 14 pacesetters are the leading points scorers (162) in the tournament after four rounds, they will be looking for their first victory over the Scottish club at the fourth time of asking when the clubs meet at Stade Chaban-Delmas on Saturday.

Bristol Bears, RC Toulon and Leicester Tigers have all won four matches to date and can seal their places in the knockout stage with wins over Brive, Scarlets and Cardiff Blues, respectively.

Key notes from Round 5 of the Challenge Cup:

Worcester Warriors go in search of their 50th win in the tournament when they welcome Enisei-STM to Sixways Stadium in Pool 1. Victory over the Russian club would also push them into the race for a place in the quarter-finals with Castres Olympique hosting leaders Dragons, also on Saturday.

En route to the Heineken Champions Cup semi-finals two seasons ago, the Scarlets edged out RC Toulon in a thrilling encounter in west Wales. The two go head-to-head again in Llanelli live on S4C and BT Sport.
