The giant Australian provided both physicality and deft handling as the five-time champions secured home and away wins over Munster Rugby and Sale Sharks to set up a Round of 16 clash at home to Vodacom Bulls on April 2.

Meafou added the gloss to a 27-5 win at Sale in Round 3 as he powered over for try, while he also asserted himself as one of the leading players in this season’s competition when it comes to offloads, completing seven in four games.

The 24-year-old was a starter in each of those matches and his thunderous tackling is set to be showcased further in the knockout stage.
