The 31-year-old featured in the opening game of Exeter Chiefs’ triumphant 2019-20 Heineken Champions Cup campaign, but the majority of his 42 appearances in European competitions were accrued during his time with Cardiff Rugby.

Cuthbert joined Ospreys ahead of this season and will be hoping to add to his tally of 19 tries in European club rugby when they welcome Sale Sharks in their Heineken Champions Cup opener on December 12.

Scarlets trio Kieran Hardy, Johnny Williams and Liam Williams have also been brought in for Wales’ third game of the Autumn Nations Series, at scrum-half, centre and full-back respectively.

Wasps flanker Thomas Young comes into the XV, while 19-year-old Exeter lock Christ Tshiunza could make his international debut from the bench.

Ospreys winger Alex Cuthbert will make his first international appearance in four years when Wales host Fiji in the Autumn Nations Series on Sunday.
