Thomas Ramos – Toulouse (€7.0m) Toulouse full-back Thomas Ramos enjoyed his best week in Champions Fantasy Rugby in Round 4, helping his side remain top of Pool 1 with a convincing success over Wasps. Ramos leads the competition’s points chart with 71 – ahead of fly-halves Owen Farrell and Adam Hastings. Given Ramos’ reasonable price and terrific strike rate, he is definitely worth considering as the French side travel to defending champions Leinster Rugby in Round 5 and host Bath Rugby in Round 6. Adam Hastings – Glasgow Warriors (€6.0m) With three consecutive double-digit scores, fly-half Adam Hastings has caught the eye of many Champions Fantasy Rugby owners. The 22-year-old has featured prominently in all three wins for Glasgow Warriors this season, including 17 points from the kicking tee in a Round 3 win over Lyon. With key matches against Cardiff Blues and Saracens coming up in the next fortnight, Hastings will need to match those performances for the Scottish region to reach the knockout stages. https://twitter.com/GlasgowWarriors/status/1082219780550152192 Tadhg Beirne – Munster Rugby (€7.5m) Having played every minute of Munster’s Heineken Champions Cup campaign so far, lock Tadhg Beirne is a relatively sound investment for any fantasy owners wanting guaranteed points. He is yet to score a try this season but bagged three last year with Scarlets and it is surely only a matter of time before the Ireland international gets on the scoresheet. With a Heineken Man of the Match display in Round 1 against Exeter Chiefs already in his locker, a similar display in Round 6 could reward players willing to pay a premium for Beirne. Jamie George – Saracens (€7.5m) Saracens hooker Jamie George looks set for another extended run in the Heineken Champions Cup, with the two-time winners sitting top of Pool 3 with 18 points. That will be music to the ears of fantasy owners, given George has already tallied 26 fantasy points this season. With at least two more matches on the horizon, he looks a decent long-term option for any side.
