The European Rugby Challenge Cup quarter-finalist will make his 12th Scotland appearance in place of clubmate Nick Haining, who drops down to the bench after featuring in the Scots’ 19-12 defeat to Ireland in Dublin last weekend.

Bradbury is one of five Edinburgh players selected by head coach Townsend in the starting XV this weekend. He is joined by wing Blair Kinghorn, prop Rory Sutherland and flankers Jamie Ritchie and Hamish Watson.

Townsend has also named a quartet of Edinburgh replacements in Haining, hooker Stuart McInally, prop Simon Berghan and lock Ben Toolis.

Edinburgh reached the last eight of the Challenge Cup after coming second in Pool 3, setting up a quarter-final with pool stage rivals Bordeaux-Begles. That match will be live on BT Sport and beIN SPORTS from Stade Chaban Delmas on April 4.
