24 of the best club sides on the planet will go head-to-head across four pools of six, with the action getting underway on the weekend of December 8/9/10.

EPCR’s elite competition will return on the evening of Friday 8 December with two cracking games as Connacht Rugby entertain Union Bordeaux-Bègles in Pool 1 and Glasgow Warriors welcome Northampton Saints in Pool 3.

There are six games over the course of Saturday 9 December, with three-time champions RC Toulon returning to the competition with a colossal Pool 3 match-up with 2020 winners Exeter Chiefs at the Stade Félix Mayol.

Sunday 10 December is set to be a cracker too, as Leinster Rugby travel to Stade Rochelais in a Pool 4 re-run of the 2022 and 2023 finals, both of which saw the French side claim dramatic wins.

Round 2 comes a week later and is again kick-started by two fascinating Friday night clashes on December 15, with 2000 champions Northampton hosting Toulon and Glasgow heading to Champions Cup debutants Aviron Bayonnais, both in Pool 3.

One of seven superb match-ups on Saturday 16 December sees reigning champions La Rochelle play a competitive game in South Africa for the first time as they head to Cape Town for an all-star tussle with DHL Stormers in Pool 4.

Harlequins welcome five-time champions Stade Toulousain to Twickenham Stoop for a Pool 2 clash on Sunday 17 December, while Exeter Chiefs and Munster Rugby face another heavyweight Sandy Park duel in Pool 3.

There is then a four-week break before the Champions Cup returns for Round 3 on January 12/13/14, with Northampton at home to Bayonne in Pool 3 in the solitary Friday night game.

Saturday 13 January provides a whopping eight matches. Munster renew their rivalry with Toulon on the French Riviera in Pool 3, Bristol Bears are at home to Vodacom Bulls for the first time in Pool 1 and Ulster Rugby will look to avenge their gut-wrenching 2022 Round of 16 defeat when they host Toulouse in Pool 2.

There are three Anglo-French battles on Sunday 13 January as Bath Rugby entertain Racing 92 in Pool 2, Leicester Tigers head to La Rochelle in Pool 4 – a clash of two two-time champions - and Saracens visit Bordeaux in Pool 1.

The pool stage drama concludes with Round 4 the following weekend as teams jostle to secure their places in the Round of 16.

There is a re-run of last season’s EPCR Challenge Cup final on the Friday night as Glasgow host Toulon in Pool 3, while on Saturday 19 January, Leinster and Leicester meet for the third season in a row in Pool 4 at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

Elsewhere on the Saturday, Cardiff Rugby’s Pool 2 campaign ends with a tough trip to the Paris La Défense Arena to take on Racing.

On Sunday 20 January, Bath also have a daunting task in France as they head to Toulouse in Pool 2 before Exeter’s Pool 3 game at Bayonne wraps up the pool stage.

The Round of 16 takes place on 5/6/7 April before the quarter-finals on 12/13/14 April and the semi-finals on 3/4/5 May.
