The home of European Rugby in the UK and Ireland, BT Sport, will be bringing 11 hours of back-to-back coverage from Europe’s elite club competition on Sunday as they showcase some of the greatest Heineken Champions Cup matches.
Starting at 7am (UK and Irish time), BT Sport’s Heineken Champions Cup Finals Day will feature match coverage of 10 finals, including the last five Heineken Champions Cup showpiece matches.
The first match on BT Sport 3 will be a re-run of the 2001 Heineken Cup final between Leicester Tigers and Stade Francais Paris, as shown yesterday on the Heineken Champions Cup Rewind.
Then at 8:30am, Leicester’s second final success – this time over Munster Rugby – from 2002 will be showcased before Wasps v Toulouse (2004) at 10am, Leicester Tigers v Wasps (2007) at 11:30am and Northampton Saints v Leinster Rugby (2011) at 13:00pm.

BT’s magazine programme, Rugby Today, takes over at 2:30pm as the likes of Lawrence Dallaglio, Brian O’Driscoll, Sam Warburton, Bryan Habana and Emily Scarratt discuss some of their favourite European matches as well as the current rugby climate.
From 15:30pm, we get back to highlights from the five most recent Heineken Champions Cup finals, starting with the 2015 clash between ASM Clermont Auvergne and RC Toulon.
At 16:00pm, BT Sport 3 will show Racing 92 v Saracens before Clermont v Saracens (2017), Leinster v Racing 92 (2018) and Leinster v Saracens (2019) are shown in 30 minute intervals till 18:00pm.
