Racing 92 wing Simon Zebo has admitted he has “always dreamed” of winning the European Cup, ahead of his side’s Heineken Champions Cup Round 3 clash with Leicester Tigers at Paris La Defense Arena on Sunday. The 28-year-old has an excellent try-scoring record in the competition, notching 24 in 48 matches, with all bar one of them in the colours of his former club, Munster Rugby. But despite his impressive individual statistics, Zebo is yet to reach a European Cup final, having been on the losing side in four semi-finals, including a 27-22 defeat with Munster against Racing 92. The French side have started their quest to go one step further in fine fashion, grinding out a 14-13 win over Scarlets in Wales, before sweeping aside Ulster Rugby 44-12 at the Paris La Defense Arena in Pool 4. We all seem to complement each other really well,” he said.
