With just four teams left in this year's European Rugby Champions Cup, here is all you need to know ahead of next weekend's semi-finals.

Road to the semi-finals

Leinster Rugby

The only unbeaten side left in the competition, Leinster have been flawless so far in the Champions Cup.

Johnny Sexton is the province’s leading try-scorer [3] and points-scorer [52] so far in the competition this season.

The fly-half has notched up 587 European Cup points to date, with 531 of those coming for Leinster Rugby.

After winning all their matches in Pool 3 - including a double success over Aviva Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs - the Irish province hosted 2017 winners Saracens in the quarter-finals and duly swept them aside with a brilliant second-half display, emerging 30-19 victors in Dublin.

Did you know? The 51,700 attendance for their last match at the Aviva Stadium is the second highest for a quarter-final in the history of the tournament behind the 55,000 for Perpignan v RC Toulon in 2011.

Scarlets

The Welsh region have had to battle from an unpromising position to reach a first European Cup semi-final since 2007.

After narrow defeats to RC Toulon and Bath Rugby in their opening two Pool 5 matches, they responded with four victories to qualify as Pool winners ahead of Toulon.

The Welsh region’s captain, Ken Owens, is the competition’s top tackler with 119 made and just eight missed during his eight appearances so far this season.

Scarlets entertained La Rochelle in the quarter-finals, eventually winning 29-17 after a tricky opening half at a sold-out Parc y Scarlets.

Did you know? Scarlets have broken their European Cup home attendance twice this season, first against RC Toulon and most recently with the 15,373 strong crowd that witnessed their quarter-final.

Racing 92

Rounds 2 and 3 defeats to Munster Rugby and Castres Olympique put Racing 92’s Champions Cup position in jeopardy. However, they fought back with three straight victories, including a 34-30 win over Munster in their first European match at the magnificent U Arena.

Leone Nakarawa has made 19 offloads so far for the French outfit - seven more than any other player this season and 12 more than any other semi-finalist.

Racing 92 were the only side to win on their travels in the quarter-finals, defeating 2017 finalists ASM Clermont Auvergne 28-17 after a Heineken Man of the Match performance from wing Marc Andreu, who scored and supplied a try at Stade Marcel-Michelin.

Did you know? Racing 92’s victory at the Stade Marcel-Michelin was the first time that a TOP 14 club have won a quarter-final away from home since 2012.

Munster Rugby

Munster face Racing 92 for the third time this season in the semi-finals, after one win apiece in Pool 4. The Irish province qualified as Pool winners after an emphatic 48-3 success against Castres Olympique in Round 6.

They played host to RC Toulon in the quarter-finals at Thomond Park and edged home 20-19 after a wonderful try from wing Andrew Conway proved to be the crucial score with five minutes to play.

That narrow single-point victory extended the Irish province’s record of tournament quarter-final wins to 13.
