Six of the best Challenge Cup stats

Since we now have a break in the European Rugby Challenge Cup fixtures before Round 5 kicks off on January 10, it is a good opportunity to select the top six stats of the season so far.  Three clubs – RC Toulon (Pool 2), Bristol Bears (Pool 4) and Leicester Tigers (Pool 5) – boast 100 per cent records, while Bordeaux-Bègles and Edinburgh Rugby are unbeaten with three wins and a draw each in Pool 3.  Bordeaux-Bègles are the leading try and points-scorers with 21 and 162 respectively, while their fly-half, Matthieu Jalibert, tops the individual points chart with 50.  Cardiff Blues wing Owen Lane and Leicester Tigers back Jonah Holmes lead the try-scoring charts with four each.  Cardiff Blues full-back Matthew Morgan is the leading metre-maker with 304.  Enisei-STM flanker Mikheil Gachechiladze heads the lists for tackles (68) and carries (53).  Wasps flanker Jack Willis comfortably tops the turnover table with nine. https://twitter.com/ERChallengeCup/status/1206576068955705346
