The 22-year-old, who is on the England bench, played in five of Saracens’ Pool 4 rounds and was pivotal in their 27-24 home win over Racing 92 in Round 6, winning the Heineken Man of the Match award as they reached the last eight.

The forward – who has made 46 carries and 72 tackles in the Heineken Champions Cup this term – is one of seven Saracens players in England’s matchday 23.

Also included are prop Mako Vunipola and lock George Kruis - who are recalled to the starting XV by Eddie Jones - hooker Jamie George, former EPCR European Players of the Year Maro Itoje and Owen Farrell, and wing Elliot Daly.

His clubmate, hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie, will not feature on Saturday after he left the England camp on Thursday to be with his partner, who has gone into labour.

Saracens flanker Ben Earl is in line to win his first England cap on Saturday when they take on Scotland at BT Murrayfield in their second Six Nations Championship match of the season, having already impressed for the Heineken Champions Cup holders.
