Connacht Rugby lock Quinn Roux has said he is “really proud” of his side after they battled from behind to defeat Bordeaux-Bègles 33-27 in European Rugby Challenge Cup Round 6, clinching a quarter-final spot in the process. The Irish province were a point down in Bordeaux with three minutes to play, until a spectacular interception try from Jack Carty gave Connacht a six-point lead they would hold on to, sending them into the last eight as No.6 seeds.
