The Ireland legend reflects on a stunning career which saw him win the Heineken Cup twice with Munster Rugby and discusses miracle matches, missed kicks and inspirational team-mates - plus how life in La Rochelle is treating him.

Speaking about the importance of the Heineken Cup to him, he told the Champions Rugby Show: “[The Heineken Cup] was everything for me. It was everything for Munster, for the supporters, everything for the people who loved the game of rugby – it was our bread and butter.

“We didn’t really have a domestic league; we were raised on the European Cup, the Heineken Cup and the Champions Cup. It was everything we looked for in a competition.

“I think a lot of people appreciated what Munster did. We weren't the best side, but I think we were the most dogged and determined.”
