With scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet making his first start for England after scoring a try as a replacement in the first-Test loss last weekend, Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finalists Leicester will have four players in the XV, full-back Freddie Steward and prop Ellis Genge being the others.

Meanwhile, Freeman, who has been selected on the wing by England head coach Eddie Jones, boosts Northampton’s contingent to two, since England will again be captained by flanker Courtney Lawes.

Saracens, who return to the Heineken Champions Cup next season, also have four representatives in centre Owen Farrell, hooker Jamie George, lock Maro Itoje and No.8 Billy Vunipola, while Exeter Chiefs have two in wing Jack Nowell and lock Jonny Hill, and Harlequins one in fly-half Marcus Smith.

Earlier on Saturday, in New Zealand, Ireland will also seek to level their series with a team once more dominated by players from Heineken Champions Cup runners-up Leinster Rugby, who provide 12 of Andy Farrell’s starting XV.

With Johnny Sexton passed fit, he will again captain the team from fly-half alongside scrum-half Jamison Gibson Park, while Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose continue their provincial centre partnership at Test level, Hugo Keenan remains at full-back and James Lowe stays on the left wing.

Leinster also boast the Ireland front row of Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Furlong, lock James Ryan, flanker Josh van der Flier and No.8 Caelan Doris. The pack is completed by Munster Rugby lock Tadhg Beirne and flanker Peter O’Mahony.

Leicester Tigers centre Guy Porter and Northampton Saints back Tommy Freeman will make their England debuts on Saturday in the second Test of the three-match series against Australia, in Brisbane.
