Thomas Ramos – Toulouse

The ever-dangerous Ramos has proved tricky to stop from the full-back position for Pool 5 winners Toulouse in this season’s Heineken Champions Cup and has to be on the radar of fantasy players as we reach the knockout stages. He started every match for the French side in the pool stages and given Ramos racked up 129 fantasy points, he has to be considered as your kicking option as well as a try-scoring threat, especially as he notched 24 points in the Top 14 last week too.

Finn Russell – Racing 92

It’s been another excellent European campaign for this flying Scotsman so far in 2019/20 and his Fantasy Rugby owners have been rewarded with 74 points as a result. Always capable of turning nothing into something, his flair and creativity make Russell an exciting option in the fly-half position and with just 16% of all players owning the 27-year-old, he could be a valuable asset if Racing 92 can see off ASM Clermont Auvergne and reach the last four for the second time in three seasons.

Sam Simmonds – Exeter Chiefs

With 23% already owning the 25-year-old back rower, Simmonds will no doubt play a key role as Exeter Chiefs seek their first European Cup semi-final. His outstanding pool performances were highlighted by a stunning Round 6 display against La Rochelle, scoring two tries as Exeter secured a home quarter-final and home country advantage in the semi-finals. With 86.5 fantasy points to his name already, expect Simmonds to crack the 100-point mark in the next few months, potentially against Northampton Saints this weekend.

Cian Healy – Leinster Rugby

This veteran Leinster prop looks a very safe option as we head into the quarter-finals, having started every match in the pool stages as the Irish province marched to the No.1 seeding and a mouth-watering clash against defending champions Saracens in a repeat of last season’s final on Saturday afternoon. With 48.5 fantasy points already to his name, the tough-tackling 32-year-old could well chalk up another double-digit tally in the last eight.
