Scarlets will host Glasgow in the semi-finals on April 29, with Toulon welcoming Benetton the following day.

It is Scarlets’ first time in the last four of the competition – the Welsh region secured a dramatic 32-30 win over ASM Clermont Auvergne on Friday night thanks to Sam Costelow’s conversion of Ryan Conbeer’s late score. Costelow, Leigh Halfpenny and Johnny Williams also went over at Parc y Scarlets.

On Saturday, Benetton became the first Italian team to reach an EPCR semi-final as their remarkable campaign continued with a 27-23 success over Cardiff Rugby in Treviso. Rhyno Smith, Michele Lamaro and Marcus Watson notched tries for the hosts in a topsy-turvy affair.

Elsewhere on Saturday, four-time finalists Toulon underlined their credentials with a 48-23 thrashing of reigning champions Lyon at the Stade Félix Mayol. Jiuta Wainiqolo (2), Teddy Baubigny, Dany Priso, Waisea Vuidravuwalu, Charles Ollivon and Aymeric Luc all dotted down in an impressive display.

On Sunday, Glasgow booked a first ever EPCR semi-final as they held off Emirates Lions in a 31-21 success at Scotstoun Stadium. Tries from Jack Dempsey, Jamie Dobie, Zander Fagerson and Tom Jordan helped the Scottish region end their South African opponents’ maiden EPCR season.

History was made in the EPCR Challenge Cup as Scarlets, Benetton Rugby, RC Toulon and Glasgow Warriors prevailed in four thrilling quarter-finals.
