Young, who will take up her role with the Lausanne-based tournament organiser of the Heineken Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup this month, is an experienced professional in the sphere of high-profile sports communications and public relations.

Her most recent projects include strategic communications and sponsorship development and delivery for Booking.com’s Euro 2020, the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup partnerships, and Discovery Eurosport’s delivery of the Summer Olympics Games Tokyo 2020 and Winter Olympics Games Beijing 2022 in the UK.

In addition, she brings an extensive network of rugby stakeholder contacts to her new EPCR position through previous work with World Rugby, Premiership Rugby, Bath Rugby and the Barbarians.

With local to global communications expertise, she has also worked on the successful delivery of major events such as the Olympic Games London 2012, Rugby World Cup 2015 and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Young will develop a new communications strategy for EPCR with the objective of further enhancing the profile of the organisation and its flagship tournaments. She will also oversee the management of corporate communications, media relations, EPCR’s digital expansion and its CSR programme.
