Here we look back at some statistical highlights of Round 6 of the European Rugby Challenge Cup and the pool stage of the 2018/19 competition. 24 – Northampton Saints full-back George Furbank topped the carry count in Round 6. He also beat the most defenders (16) as Saints defeated Timisoara Saracens 111-3. 26 – Stade Français Paris duo Sylvain Nicolas and Mathieu De Giovanni pulled off the most tackles in Round 6, but it was not enough to prevent the French club losing 36-31 at Worcester Warriors. 27 – ASM Clermont Auvergne centre Apisai Naqalevu beat the most defenders in the pool stage. 59 – Carlo Canna’s five points for Zebre Rugby Club in their 22-10 home loss to La Rochelle meant that the full-back finished the pool stage as the Challenge Cup’s top scorer. 128 – Enisei-STM may have finished bottom of Pool 4, but they had the top tackler of the pool stage by a long chalk, Mikheil Gachechiladze’s tally being 52 more than the second best. The back-row forward was also the leading carrier in the first six rounds (80). 212 – Ryan Edwards, who scored a hat-trick of tries in Bristol Bears’ 107-19 home victory over Enisei-STM, made the most metres in Round 6.
