Despite that 27-26 loss last Friday, Leicester secured a home Round of 16 tie against Edinburgh Rugby in just over two months’ time and along with the other Heineken Champions Cup clubs, they now turn their attention back to domestic rugby.

Burns, who has played 114 times for Tigers and made his 58th EPCR appearance in this season’s Heineken Champions Cup pool stage, is fit to start ahead of his departure to Super Rugby side Highlanders.

George Martin, Guy Porter, Anthony Watson and Jasper Wiese are also back from injury for Leicester, while scrum-half Sam Edwards makes his first Premiership start and mid-season signings Tom West and Tom Whiteley are among the replacements.

Meanwhile, Saracens, who clinched a home Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Ospreys despite a 20-14 defeat at Edinburgh, host Bristol Bears.

Jackson Wray becomes the fifth player to make 300 appearances for Saracens as he captains the side from flanker. The 32-year-old has made 59 appearances in the Heineken Champions Cup and helped Saracens lift the trophy on three occasions.

Elsewhere in the Premiership, Jonny Gray is fit again and starts at lock for Exeter Chiefs as they welcome fellow Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 side Gloucester Rugby, who have full-back Santi Carreras and centre Chris Harris back at their disposal.

There are further Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 qualifiers in United Rugby Championship (URC) action on Saturday as Edinburgh welcome Cell C Sharks.

British & Irish Lion Hamish Watson is back at flanker for Edinburgh while Cell C Sharks have rested South Africa internationals Eben Etzebeth, Siya Kolisi, Jaden Hendrikse and Lukhanyo Am.

Munster Rugby and Leinster Rugby are away at Benetton Rugby and at home to Cardiff Rugby respectively – fly-half Joey Carbery makes his 50th appearance for Munster while flanker Scott Penny hits the same milestone for Leinster.

Pool B winners Stade Rochelais are the only Heineken Champions Cup side in TOP 14 action on Saturday – they head to Racing 92, who have dropped into the EPCR Challenge Cup.

Sunday sees four Heineken Champions Cup contenders in action as Harlequins visit London Irish in the Premiership, Ospreys head to Zebre Parma in the URC and Stade Toulousain and Montpellier Hérault Rugby go head-to-head in the TOP 14.

Back-row forward James Chisholm is on the bench for Quins as he makes his long-awaited return from injury, with prop Nicky Smith captaining Ospreys amid 15 call-ups to the Wales Six Nations squad.

Fly-half Billy Burns is set to play his final game for Leicester Tigers as they host Northampton Saints in the Gallagher Premiership on Saturday and look to bounce back from their last-gasp defeat to Ospreys in the Heineken Champions Cup.
