Stade Toulousain scrum-half Antoine Dupont, the EPCR Player of the Year in 2021, is in the running to win the prestigious trophy for the second time, after being nominated in the 2023 longlist.
The France captain was a huge reason for five-time winners Toulouse winning all four of their Pool B games to finish second in the group and seal a Round of 16 home tie against Vodacom Bulls on April 2.
In addition to scoring two tries in the TOP 14 club’s 45-19 home thrashing of Sale Sharks in Round 2, the 26-year-old has displayed how crucial he is to both Toulouse’s attack and defence.
He lies second in the category for defenders beaten with 18 from his four pool appearances and joint sixth for offloads with seven, as well as featuring in the top 10 for turnovers with six.
The 👑 of fashion, tries and now the try-saving tackle 😂
Antoine Dupont’s put in multiple stand-out performances for @StadeToulousain in the 2022/23 #HeinekenChampionsCup season so far, is he your #EPOTY2023?
