Exeter flanker Christ Tshiunza scores his maiden Heineken Champions Cup try
Exeter Chiefs flanker Christ Tshiunza starts for Wales in their Six Nations clash with Scotland at BT Murrayfield on Saturday after scoring his maiden Heineken Champions Cup try in Round 4 last month.
The 21-year-old featured in all four of Exeter’s Heineken Champions Cup pool stage games as they booked a Round of 16 tie at home to Montpellier Hérault Rugby on April 2, with his score in a 40-3 thrashing of Castres Olympique underling his status as one of the competition’s most exciting youngsters.
Tshiunza comes into the Wales side along with lock Dafydd Jenkins, also of Exeter, and Leicester Tigers flanker Tommy Reffell as they look to recover from last weekend’s bruising opening round defeat to Ireland.
Ospreys see four of their players retain starting berths in Jac Morgan, who shifts to No.8, lock Adam Beard and centre pairing Joe Hawkins and George North.
There are four further Ospreys representatives on the bench in Rhys Davies, who is set for his international debut, Scott Baldwin, Rhys Webb and Alex Cuthbert.
