Racing 92 fly-half Finn Russell starts for Scotland in for Scotland in their Six Nations opener against England at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday as he joins a Glasgow Warriors contingent his club will now compete with for EPCR Challenge Cup glory.

Bath Rugby-bound Russell was unable to prevent Racing from slipping out of this season’s Heineken Champions Cup, though his 22 points helped ensure them a place in the EPCR Challenge Cup Round of 16.

Racing visit Emirates Lions on April 1 while Glasgow, who have 11 representatives in the Scotland squad, welcome Dragons RFC on the same day following their unbeaten Pool A campaign.

Hooker George Turner, lock Richie Gray and No.8 Matt Fagerson all start along with wing Kyle Steyn and the midfield pairing of Huw Jones and Sione Tuipulotu.

Fraser Brown, Jamie Bhatti, Simon Berghan, Jack Dempsey and George Horne are all on the bench as Glasgow dominate the international side.
