Racing 92 fly-half Finn Russell has been named as one of three changes to Scotland’s starting XV for their Autumn International against New Zealand.

Russell, who could line up for Racing 92 against Leinster Rugby in the opening round of Heineken Champions Cup action on December 10, will partner Ali Price, Glasgow Warriors’ scrum-half for the national side.

Hooker Fraser Brown and inside centre Sione Tuipulotu, both of Glasgow, are the other changes made by head coach Gregor Townsend from the side who beat Fiji 28-12 last weekend.

Edinburgh Rugby, who travel to Saracens in the opening round on December 11, have five representatives in the XV: Pierre Schoeman, Grant Gilchrist, Jamie Ritchie, Hamish Watson, Duhan van der Merwe and Darcy Graham.

Other Heineken Champions Cup representatives in the XV are Gloucester Rugby’s Chris Harris and Exeter Chiefs’ Stuart Hogg.

Ewan Ashman (Sale Sharks), Rory Sutherland (Ulster Rugby), WP Nel (Edinburgh), Jonny Gray (Exeter) and Ben White (London Irish) are named amongst the replacements.
