Alex Coles, who plays for Heineken Champions Cup Pool B side Northampton Saints, is set to make his debut for England against Argentina.

Coles has been selected to play in the second row by England head coach Eddie Jones as his side takes on Los Pumas at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday.

The Saints player will line up alongside Jonny Hill in the back row, while behind them flankers Mario Itoje and Tom Curry will sit either side of Billy Vunipola at no.8.

Props Ellis Genge, named as one of two vice-captains, and Kyle Sinckler along with hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie complete the English scrum.

In the back contingent, three-time Heineken Champions Cup winner Owen Farrell is named captain at centre. Alongside him will be Sale Sharks’ Manu Tuilagi, who has made a total of 32 appearances in EPCR competitions.

Ben Youngs and Marcus Smith have been selected at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, while wings Joe Cokanasiga and Jack Nowell, the second vice-captain, and fullback Freddie Steward complete the XV.
