Max Malins crosses against Toulon in the 2020 Challenge Cup final
Utility back Max Malins will join Bristol Bears, where he won the 2020 EPCR Challenge Cup as a loanee, permanently ahead of next season.
The 14-time England international will spend the remainder of this campaign with Heineken Champions Cup outfit Saracens before linking up with Bristol in the summer of 2023.
Malins scored four tries in three games during Bristol’s run to Challenge Cup glory two years ago, including a double in their 37-20 semi-final win against Union Bordeaux-Bègles and another in their 32-19 success over RC Toulon in the final.
The 25-year-old was the leading try-scorer in the Gallagher Premiership last season with 16 and crossed against Cardiff Rugby in one of his three Challenge Cup appearances as Saracens reached the semi-finals.
While Malins is set to feature in the Heineken Champions Cup this year, Bristol are competing in the EPCR Challenge Cup, with their first Pool A clash seeing them travel to USAP in December.
