Argentina have called up three players who are set to feature in next season’s EPCR Challenge Cup for their Rugby Championship clash with Australia in San Juan on Saturday.

Amid a handful of tweaks to their starting XV following last weekend’s 41-26 home defeat to the Wallabies, Los Pumas have brought in Newcastle Falcons centre Matías Moroni, Dragons scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou and Benetton Rugby prop Thomas Gallo.

Moroni replaces clubmate Matías Orlando, while Gallo comes in for fellow Benetton representative Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro and Bertranou is picked ahead of Biarritz Olympique’s Tomás Cubelli.

Stade Français Paris’ Marcos Kremer and USAP’s Jerónimo de la Fuente maintain their starting berths at flanker and centre respectively.

Cubelli and Chaparro have dropped to the bench, with RC Toulon’s Facundo Isa and Benetton’s Tomás Albornoz the other EPCR Challenge Cup talent among the replacements.
