Sam Davies – Dragons (24)

Although Dragons have suffered back-to-back defeats at the start of their EPCR Challenge Cup campaign, Davies has been a major provider of the points they’ve scored and he has soared to the top of the individual chart as a result.

The 28-year-old kicked three penalties in each of the United Rugby Champions side’s opening two games and has converted three of their four tries.

Leo Berdeu – Lyon (21)

Berdeu didn’t feature in Lyon’s win over Gloucester Rugby in Round 1, but their triumph over Dragons a week later came largely thanks to his efforts, as he racked up a staggering 21 points.

The 23-year-old nudged three conversions and a penalty in the first half, before slotting a further four three-pointers in the final 20 minutes of the game to help his side leave Rodney Parade with a 41-28 victory.

Rhyno Smith – Benetton Rugby (15)

Benetton’s only game so far in this season’s EPCR Challenge Cup ended in a 54-25 loss at the hands of Gloucester Rugby, but Smith played a key role in their resistance at Kingsholm Stadium.

The South African kicked two early penalties before going over for his team’s first try, which he converted, as he did with their third later in the game.

Alexis Levron – Section Paloise (12)

Pau are another side to have played just once in the EPCR Challenge Cup this season, with Levron one of their standout performers in their 33-17 home loss to London Irish.

The 21-year-old, who was making his debut in European rugby, tallied the majority of his team’s points as he scored a second-half try, in addition to two conversions and a penalty.

Jean-Marc Doussain – Lyon (11)

With Berdeu absent in Round 1, Doussain was on kicking duties for Lyon and took the opportunity to get himself into double figures for points early in the competition.

The 30-year-old's three penalties and conversion of Jordan Taufua’s try proved vital as the TOP 14 outfit battled to a 19-13 win over Gloucester at Matmut Stadium de Gerland.
