As part of the celebrations of a quarter of a century of rugby in what is now the Heineken Champions Cup, EPCR and Official Partner Tissot continue to give you the chance to vote on the best drop goal since the competition began in 1995.

Featuring some of the best moments of the last 25 years, you can choose from a range of world-class drop goals, with the fifth coming from Leinster legend Johnny Sexton – who made no mistake from long distance in the 2009 Heineken Cup final against Leicester Tigers on just his eighth European appearance.

After a Leicester clearing kick, Sexton collects the ball just inside his own half before unleashing a simply outrageous drop goal attempt that had all the distance and accuracy required to nudge the Irish province into a three-point lead. Leinster would go on to win the match 19-16 and and their first European title.

Once all of the shortlisted events have been revealed, fans will have the chance to vote for their favourite through, with the winner of each section determined by a combination of the public vote and a panel of experts, whose debate of them will also be carried across EPCR’s digital platforms.

The activation will not only celebrate the relationship between EPCR and its high-quality timing partner but will also showcase some of the moments that have made the Heineken Champions Cup ‘The One to Win’ over the past quarter of a century, with a range of world-class tries, some stunning drop goals and place kicks converted in testing circumstances and with the eyes of the watching world on the kicker.
