The referee appointments for this weekend’s Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup semi-finals have been announced following a meeting of EPCR’s selection committeechaired by EPCR’s Head of Match Officials, Joel Jutge.

The selection committee has appointed Nigel Owens of Wales to referee the Heineken Champions Cup semi-final clash of Racing 92 and holders, Saracens, at Paris La Défense Arena, and Ireland’s Andrew Brace to take charge of the second semi-final between Exeter Chiefs and Toulouse at Sandy Park. Both matches are scheduled for Saturday (26 September). 

The first of the Challenge Cup semi-finals on Friday (25 September) which pits Bristol Bears against Bordeaux-Bègles at Ashton Gate will be refereed by Frank Murphy of Irelandwhile Scotland’s Mike Adamson will be in the middle for the second semi-final between RC Toulon and Leicester Tigers at Stade Félix Mayol on Saturday (26 September).
