Pool 4 winners Bristol Bears were notable winners on Sunday in the Gallagher Premiership, triumphing 19-13 at Bath Rugby thanks to tries from flanker Christopher Vui, wing Alapati Leuia and replacement scrum-half Harry Randall.

Bristol host Dragons in their Challenge Cup quarter-final at Ashton Gate on April 5 and the Welsh region also notched a victory at the weekend, battling back from 10-0 down in the Guinness PRO14 to defeat South African side Cheetahs 13-10 at Rodney Parade with eight points from fly-half Sam Davies.

In the TOP 14, three Challenge Cup quarter-finalists were in action on Sunday, with RC Toulon edging out Stade Francais Paris 19-18 thanks to 11 points from centre Anthony Belleau and Bordeaux-Begles squeezing past Castres Olympique 26-24 with 10 points from scrum-half Maxime Lucu.

Bordeaux entertain Edinburgh Rugby in the last eight on April 4, when Castres also travel to Welford Road to take on Leicester Tigers.

The Tigers got back to winning ways in the Premiership with a 14-8 home win over Worcester Warriors, while nine points from fly-half Simon Hickey led Edinburgh to a 14-6 home victory over Cardiff Blues in the Guinness PRO14.

All the Challenge Cup quarter-finals will be live on BT Sport and beIN SPORTS, with Toulon v Scarlets on April 3 also available on FR4.

It was an impressive weekend for the teams left in the European Rugby Challenge Cup, with six of the quarter-finalists maintaining their excellent European form with domestic victories.
