Leinster Rugby are searching for a second successive PRO14 title this weekend when they take on Glasgow Warriors, having narrowly missed out on the Heineken Champions Cup earlier this month in Newcastle.
The Irish province completed a spectacular double in 2018 by beating Racing 92 15-12 in Bilbao and defeating Scarlets – who they had beaten in the Champions Cup semi-finals – 40-32 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
This time around they fell agonisingly short of clinching a fifth star as they were beaten 20-10 by Saracens in the showpiece final at St. James’ Park, despite leading 10-0 in that match.
But they will be hoping to retain one half of that double by defeating Heineken Champions Cup quarter-finalists Glasgow Warriors this weekend, who have ‘home’ advantage with the PRO14 final being held at Celtic Park in Glasgow.

The two sides met in European competition in the 2017/18 campaign, with Leinster defeating the Scottish side 34-18 at Scotstoun and 55-19 at the RDS Arena in the pool stages.
In their domestic clash this season, though, Glasgow toppled the Irish province with an impressive 39-24 win at The RDS, with 14 points from the boot of fly-half Adam Hastings.
