Dan Sheehan goes over for Leinster's first try in the Heineken Champions Cup final
Leinster Rugby’s Dan Sheehan has won the Tissot Try of the Round for his first score in the Heineken Champions Cup final.
The hooker crossed twice inside the first quarter of an hour as Leinster produced an electrifying start, though they would ultimately fall to a heart-breaking 27-26 defeat in Dublin.
Sheehan’s first score received 44% of the votes, seeing off the efforts from La Rochelle trio Jonathan Danty (23%), UJ Seuteni (15%) and Georges-Henri Colombe (6%).
Sheehan’s second dot down also picked up 6% of votes, as did Jimmy O’Brien, who provided Leinster’s other try in their early blitz.
