EPCR can confirm that it has been decided to move the venue of the EPCR Challenge Cup, Round 2 fixture between Glasgow Warriors and USAP from Scotstoun, Glasgow to BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh.
The match in Pool A will be played as scheduled on Friday (16 December) with an unchanged kick-off of 20.00 (local time).
Following consultation between Glasgow Warriors and EPCR, the decision was taken to avail of the undersoil heating at BT Murrayfield due to the unsafe state of some parts of the Scotstoun playing surface combined with a worsening weather forecast of snow and freezing conditions for the Glasgow area on Friday.
Season Ticket holders and match ticket purchasers will receive full details about their options from Glasgow Warriors’ Customer Services team tomorrow (Thursday). This fixture is now off sale and will go back online tomorrow (Thursday) for supporters to purchase match tickets.
The match will be broadcast live by Viaplay.
