South Africa have made wholesale changes for Saturday’s second Test against Wales in Bloemfontein, but their side still includes an array of Heineken Champions Cup talent, including two debutants.

Bulls wing Kurt-Lee Arendse and Stormers back-row forward Evan Roos both make their maiden appearances for the Springboks as just three players in the squad retain their places from the first Test.

Harlequins centre Andre Esterhuizen starts along with Racing 92 duo Warrick Gelant and Trevor Nyakane, who line up at full-back and prop respectively, while new Leicester Tigers fly-half Handre Pollard is also included in the XV.

Flanker Marcell Coetzee is another Bulls man, with wing Aphelele Fassi, scrum-half Jaden Hendrikse, lock Eben Etzebeth – the only surviving starter from last weekend – and prop Thomas du Toit representing Sharks.

Stormers, who like Bulls and Sharks are joining the Heineken Champions Cup next season, have two more players in the starting side in lock Marvin Orie and prop Joseph Dweba.
