Wasps 25 Exeter Chiefs 24 – 2016 Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final

Jimmy Gopperth kept his nerve to kick Wasps into the last four of Heineken Champions Cup in a stunning victory against Exeter at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The visitors led 14-6 at half-time after two tries from Thomas Waldrom wiped out Gopperth's two kicks before Wasps' Charles Piutau and Chiefs prop Harry Williams traded tries and Gareth Steenson kicked Exeter 24-11 ahead.

Frank Halai gave Wasps hope before Exeter looked set to hang on until Gopperth converted Piutau's last-second try in the most dramatic fashion.

Leicester Tigers 9 Wasps 25 – 2007 Heineken Cup final

Wasps pulled off a stunning success against two-time European winners Leicester Tigers to win the Heineken Cup at Twickenham in front of a monster crowd of 81,076.

The 2004 winners scored first-half tries from scrum-half Eoin Reddan and hooker Raphael Ibanez and Alex King kept the scoreboard ticking after the break to ensure they would claim a second crown and make Leicester wait for a third victory in the competition.

Wasps 27 Toulouse 20 – 2004 Heineken Cup final

Wasps lifted the Heineken Cup for the first time after defeating French giants Toulouse 27-20 in dramatic fashion thanks to a last-gasp try from scrum-half Rob Howley.

In the dying seconds of the match, Howley beat Clément Poitrenaud to the ball to seal the win after the teams were tied at 20-20.

Wasps led for much of the match, thanks to scores from Stuart Abbott and Mark van Gisbergen, who grabbed 17 points while Toulouse fly-half Yann Delaigue finished with 14 points but Wasps held out to finish the victors.

Wasps 48 Bath Rugby 30 – 2003 Challenge Cup final

Wasps were much the better side in a thrilling Challenge Cup final, scoring three tries in each half to see off Bath Rugby at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.

Wasps' domination up front paved the way for first-half tries from Josh Lewsey, Fraser Waters and Phil Greening before Kenny Logan and Trevor Leota as well as Martyn Wood added three more after the break, with fly-half Alex King kicking 18 points.

Bath did show some resistance with Olly Barkley, James Scaysbrook, Mike Tindall and Iain Balshaw collecting tries - but they never looked likely to stop Wasps securing a first European trophy.
