Ulster Rugby operations director Bryn Cunningham has declared the Irish province “happy” with their draw for next season’s Heineken Champions Cup.
The 1999 winners will line up alongside 2019 European Rugby Challenge Cup champions and TOP 14 runners-up ASM Clermont Auvergne, plus the English duo of Harlequins and Bath Rugby in Pool 3.
“Clermont are obviously a top side,” Cunningham, a member of Ulster’s European Cup-winning squad, told the province’s YouTube feed.
“We’ve been there a couple of times before and there was an incredible atmosphere, one of the best atmospheres you can get in European rugby, so that’s probably one for the fans as much as for the players and staff.
“Obviously, we’ve got two English sides in there as well. We’ve had that before on a couple of occasions. They’re going to be tough battles.”
Expect plenty of tries in Pool 3 with the talent out wide…💫

Ulster have won all four of their European Cup meetings with Bath and lead their head-to-heads with Harlequins 3-2, but they are level with Clermont at 2-2.
