St James’ Park will be the centrepiece of Europe’s festival of world-class club rugby on 10 and 11 May 2019. The Challenge Cup final will be played at St James’ Park on the evening of Friday 10 May, with the blue-riband Heineken Champions Cup decider scheduled for the same venue the following day, Saturday 11 May.
Where is St James’ Park?
The 52,000-capacity home of Newcastle United Football Club is situated in the centre of the city, surrounded by numerous bars, shops, restaurants, hotels and parking. The stadium is a five-minute walk from Newcastle’s main train station and is also served by major bus routes and the Tyne & Wear Metro, which links Newcastle with the airport, Sunderland and Gateshead.

What are the ticket prices?
For the European Rugby Champions Cup final, ticket prices start from £20 adults and £10 juniors, while for the European Rugby Challenge Cup final they start from £15 adults and £5 juniors. The full list of ticket price categories is available by clicking here.
How much are the ticket booking fees and why are they in place?
For sales of under £20 there is a flat fee of £2 per transaction. For sales of over £20 there is a fee of 6% per transaction. These fees are to cover credit card administration costs, postage fees and the printing cost of the wallet the tickets will come in.
What’s the maximum number of tickets I can buy in one transaction?
There is a maximum number of eight tickets per transaction.

Ticket prices are only for adults and juniors. What age constitutes a ‘junior’?
Juniors must be aged under 16 on 31 August, 2018. This equates to school year 11 or lower for the 2018/19 UK education period.
When will I receive my tickets? Will they be e-tickets or physical tickets received by post?
Tickets will be received 3-4 weeks out from the game, and they will be physical tickets.

The European Rugby Champions Cup Final is likely to sell out. All but one of the last 12 Champions Cup finals have had crowds bigger than St James’ Park’s stadium capacity of 52,000. Strong demand is also expected for the Challenge Cup Final.
