Edinburgh Rugby hooker Stuart McInally has been a model of consistency so far this season, bagging 10 points in his opening two matches for fantasy owners. With crucial head-to-head clashes with Newcastle Falcons – who sit top of Heineken Champions Cup Pool 5 – on the horizon, expect another double-digit haul from the front row in the coming weeks.
While wing Maxime Medard has grabbed plenty of headlines for Toulouse so far this season, full-back Thomas Ramos has been sensational from the kicking tee under pressure, rewarding fantasy owners with a whopping 29 points from two matches. The 23-year-old has played every minute of Toulouse’s campaign so far, so it would be no shock if he bags plenty of points when the Pool 1 leaders travel to face Wasps in Round 3.

Another man that may have gone under the radar, flanker Matt Kvesic sits second for fantasy points scored in his position across the opening two rounds of the Heineken Champions Cup. Racking up 33 tackles in two matches as well as a try in Exeter’s 29-25 defeat to Castres Olympique in Round 2, Kvesic has to be considered for fantasy owners on a tight budget.
Leinster Rugby wing James Lowe was highlighted in our Champions Fantasy Rugby focus at the start of the season and has handsomely rewarded 42% of our fantasy players with 25 points from his opening two matches. The 26-year-old has a staggering 294 metres carried this season and will be expected to play a prominent role when the Irish province face Bath Rugby in Round 3 and continue their bid to win a record-breaking fifth European Cup.
