Edinburgh Rugby forwards Stuart McInally, Ben Toolis and Hamish Watson all return to the Scotland side to face South Africa this Saturday at BT Murrayfield after impressing in the opening two rounds of the Heineken Champions Cup last month.

The trio are among six changes made by Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend after they sat out the Scots’ comprehensive 54-17 home win over Fiji last weekend.

They have been influential in Edinburgh’s fine start to their Champions Cup campaign, helping the Scottish side earn a losing bonus point in Montpellier, before emphatically defeating three-time winners RC Toulon 40-14 at BT Murrayfield.

Glasgow Warriors centre Huw Jones and lock Jonny Gray also come back into the side, replacing Alex Dunbar and Grant Gilchrist respectively.

Exeter Chiefs lock Sam Skinner will make his second appearance for Scotland after his man-of-the-match performance last week, while Glasgow Warriors wing Tommy Seymour also retains his place following a stunning hat-trick of tries against the Fijians.
