Injured hooker, Sheahan indicated that his recovery from a neck injury is progressing steadily but admitted he is a little frustrated that he cannot throw himself into contact training just yet.
Sheahan aims to be back in action for the Munster V Perpignan clash in Lansdowne Road.
“Last week I wasn’t able to straighten my arm and now I can,” he said. “Each day it’s getting better and it feels a lot stronger. I’m going back to the surgeon in two weeks and he’ll give me a more definite time on a possible comeback but hopefully I’ll be back in a month or so.”
The last match he played was against Sale Sharks on 10 Oct, when he scored a try for Munster. With a total of 39 Heineken Cup caps to his credit, Sheahan is hoping that he will earn his 40th cap with Munster at the quarter-final in Lansdowne Road.
