Phenomenal demand for tickets for the Leinster V Munster Heineken Cup clash.

As the countdown begins for the “All Irish” Heineken Cup semi-final at Lansdowne Road on Sunday, 23 April, (3.00 pm) Leinster and Munster have started to distribute almost 43,000 tickets for the much anticipated clash.

ERC, the Heineken Cup organisers, have confirmed that both teams have received an equal allocation of 21,400 tickets for the Heineken Cup semi-final, which will be televised live by RTE, Sky Sports and Sport +.

Both provinces will distribute tickets through their club networks, supporters clubs, schools and to sponsors, commercial partners, squads, management and officials.  This process has already begun and both provinces have indicated that due to the huge level of demand no tickets will go on general sale to the public for the game.
