Connacht fans will be delighted that two of their Ireland A internationals signed new contracts ahead of their European Challenge Cup quarter-final against Newcastle Falcons.

Hooker John Fogarty signed a new two year deal with the Irish province. Fogarty is in his third season with Connacht. The 28-year-old displaced Bernard Jackman last year to become first choice hooker.

Loosehead prop Ray Hogan agreed a new one-year deal with the club. The 24-year-old has come through the ranks at Connacht and has made 13 appearance for Connacht in the European Challenge Cup.


Connacht go head-to-head with Newcastle Falcons in Newcastle on 31 March in the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup.
